HOW CAN I HAVE A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS?
What can I DO to go to heaven?
Nothing. You can never do enough good to erase your
guilt.
What did JESUS DO for me?

He lived a holy, sinless life for me because I could not.

He took the judgement for my sin upon Himself by dying in my place.

Once the penalty for my sin was fulfilled, Jesus was resurrected and ascended into heaven. He is forever a living witness before God that my sin has been paid for and I can be forgiven.
What must I DO to receive God’s forgiveness?

1. ACKNOWLEDGE before God my sinful condition and the fact that I need to be forgiven.

BELIEVE that God loves me and Jesus died for me and rose again so that I can be forgiven.

ASK God to forgive me and to change me. (Jesus said, “You must be born-again”.) Only God can change me on the inside and He will if I ask Him.

CONFESS that Jesus is my Lord and Savior.
HOW TO ASK:
Lord, I thank you for forgiving me of my sins. I acknowledge that I have sinned against You and others. I ask You to forgive me and wash me clean with the precious, life-giving blood of Jesus Christ, Your Son. I believe in my heart that Jesus died for me – He took my sin upon Himself when He died on the cross. I believe that
Jesus was raised from the dead, giving me power over the devil. I turn from my life of sin and I ask Jesus to come live inside of me. I confess Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. Lord, thank You! I am now a born-again child of God! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
